Characteristics:
The "Memorial Monument for Martyrs during World War Two" is located at the Wu Kau Tang Martyr Memorial Park. The park is surrounded by trees and hills, creating a solemn atmosphere. The "Memorial Monument for Martyrs during World War Two" is erected to commemorate guerrilla soldiers based in Wu Kau Tang Village who died while fighting against the Japanese during the World War II. The cenotaph is inscribed with Chinese characters to pay tribute to the soldiers.

The cenotaph has been included in the State Council’s List of State Facilities and Sites Marking the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression in 2015.
