Characteristics:
Tai Shing Stream is located in Shing Mun Country Park of Tai Mo Shan. Its lower stream leads to Shing Mun Reservoir. There is a concrete bridge at the Pineapple Dam Nature Trail of Shing Mun Reservoir. From here, one can start the journey to the stream. The lower stream is rather flat and scattered with many boulders and small water pools. After about a 40 minutes' walk is the Azalea Pool. The 13 ft high rock by the side of the pool looks like a big bird and is named Mountain Bird Rock. Ahead is the Huang Mu Waterfalls (Dragon Waterfalls) at a height of over 200 ft. A short distance further is the Maple Leaf Pool, the biggest pool of this stream. The route leaving the stream is just a few minutes' walk from the pool.
