Characteristics:
Pumping Appliances are to carry personnel and their basic equipment to an incident and to pump water on the scene.

A Major Pump (MP) is a typical 3-box design with 7 compartments, all of them fitted with single-man lift bar roller shutters. Dennis Sabre 4x2 chassis has an 8-man 4-door air-conditioned crew cab.

A Light Pumping Appliance (LPA) is shorter and lower than a Major Pump. It contains 5 compartments fitted with single-man lift bar roller shutters. It helps conduct fire-fighting and rescue operations in areas inaccessible by major fire appliances. Mercedes-Benz Vario 4x2 chassis has a 6-man 4-door ventilated cab.

A Reserve Heavy Pump (RHP) conducts water relay operations in fire-fighting in remote areas and assists in fire-fighting in major fire incidents. There is a 2-man 2-door ventilated cab and 9 compartments fitted with single-man lift bar roller shutters.

Facilities:
MP - rear mounted multi-pressure fire pump of 4,000 litres/min, water tank of 1,350 litres, single pump control panel at the rear with automatic pump pressure controller, permanent piped dual remote controlled water monitors of 2,400 litres/min on rear body roof close to cab, 10.7 m ladder mounted on AS Equipment single beam gantry ladder loading mechanism, 7.34 m first floor push up ladder, etc LPA - Rear mounted multi-pressure fire pump of 2,700 litres/min, water tank of 650 litres, single pump control panel at the rear, 7.34 m first floor push up ladder, etc RHP - Rear mounted fire pump of 10,000 litres/min, water tank of 1,800 litres or 3,000 litres, dual pump control panel at the rear with automatic pump pressure controller, 2 permanent piped dual remote controlled water monitors on top of rear body close to cab, etc
